This Japanese inspired tote
can be used as a purse or it can make brown-bagging lunch look chic. The insulated
lining keeps hot food hot or cold food cold. The five petal focal flower was
created using fabric origami and the horizontal band features Sashiko embroidery. The instructions and pattern for this project can be found in the Fall 2015 issue of Stitch.An alternate gold version of the tote was posted as a reader bonus.
