DIY Mother's Day Card--Free project

Brighten her day by making her this cheery tulip card. The free card making project is perfect for Mother's Day or any other day you want to make her feel special. Click on read more below the photo to see the instructions.




Materials
Cardstock: White and Yellow
DCWV Jewels MM Textured Cardstock—Green
Top Boss® Watermark Inkpad and Clear Embossing Powder
ColorBox® Archival Dye Ink— Cookie Dough, Lemon Drop, Mermaid, Moody Blue, Atlantic Blue,
Khaki Green, Tree Frog Green and Golf Course
Stampland Chicago Antique Script Block 9307-38 and A Stamp in the Hand Co.—Tulips
Cosmetic Sponge
Heatgun
Aleene’s® Original Tacky Glue®


Instructions

1. Cut the following: 3 ¾” X 4 ¾” rectangle from white cardstock, 4”X 5” rectangle from green cardstock and 5 ½” X 8 ½” rectangle from yellow cardstock. Turn the yellow rectangle horizontal, score a vertical line down the center, and fold in half to create card base. Folded dimensions 4 ¼” X 5 ½”.
2. Ink up the Antique Script Block with Cookie Dough and stamp on white rectangle. Ink up the Tulip stamp with the Watermark Pad and emboss with Clear.
3. Use cosmetic sponge to apply inks—Lemon Drop for background, Mermaid, Moody Blue and Atlantic Blue for the flowers and Khaki Green, Tree Frog Green, Golf Course to the leaves. Drag edges of panel on Atlantic Blue.
4. Assemble card.
