By combining techniques and product you can create the illusion of dimension. The techniques used are applying Jacquard Pearl Ex Powdered Pigments in layers and dimensional stamping. Pearl Ex makes it possible to create a metallic look without being a metal. Dimensional stamping is done by stamping in two different colors. First round, randomly stamp the image in one color. Second round, using a different color ink, offset stamp the image 2mm in any direction you choose from the images stamped in the first round. The combination of the two techniques gives the illusion of dimension to a flat surface. Instructions on how to create this card can be found in the April 2011 issue of Scrap & Stamp Arts.
